Concrete worker killed in Jessup construction accident Id’d

JESSUP, Md. (WBFF)– A man working for a concrete company died after becoming trapped in a piece of heavy machinery, Howard County Police said Friday.

Police and fire units were dispatched around 5:20 a.m. to Hanson Concrete Products on Dorsey Run Road where they found the man unresponsive and trapped in the machinery. He was declared deceased at the scene.

Investigators have not released any further details about the type of machinery involved, or how the accident happened.

Police have identified the victim as 32-year-old Agrey Emile Coudakpo, of Windsor Mill.

The accident continues to be under investigation by the Howard County Police Department and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Agency (MOSHA).
