Man in bandages robs Elkridge bank

ELKRIDGE, Md. (WBFF)– The Howard County Police along with Montgomery County detectives are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Elkridge and may be connected to a bank robbery in Laurel.

The robbery took place around 1:45 p.m. on April 1, at the Capitol One Bank on Marshalee Drive inside of the Lynwood Square shopping center.

Police say the male suspect entered the bank and implied that he had a weapon. The suspect demanded money from the teller. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the location.

The suspect is described as black male last seen wearing glasses, gray sweatpants and a blue hoodie. He was also wearing a white neck brace and white bandages cover part of his face.

Police say he may be connected to another robbery that occurred just 45 minutes prior at the Sandy Spring at Howard bank.

A $1,500 reward is being offered for any information that will lead the arrest of the suspect.
