ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF)– Police are continuing their search for a second suspect who allegedly damaged multiple properties in an Annapolis neighborhood.

Annapolis police have arrested one suspect thus far. 34-year-old, Jeffery Somerville, of Glen Burnie, was arrested Friday for his involvement in multiple destruction of properties that occurred on April 17, in the area of President Street and Park Avenue.

Authorities are also seeking a second suspect, Nathanial Lee Gross, 31, of Annapolis who is wanted in connection to the same incident.

Somerville has been charged with first-degree assault with a handgun, reckless endangerment, and 21 other criminal counts relating to the destruction of two homes and seven vehicles.

Gross, who is still at large is wanted on similar charges.

The Annapolis Police Department believe both men are responsible for gunfire that struck a house on Park Avenue and Jefferson Street, an apartment on President and Madison Street, and seven unoccupied vehicles that were parked on President Street.

The gunfire reportedly occurred at 4:11 a.m. No injuries were reported during these incidents.

Detectives entered an apartment on Madison Street in search for Gross, but did not located the suspect.

They did, however, make an arrest for an unrelated felony drug possession.

Derrick Stansbury, 25, of Annapolis had approximately 9.4 grams of crack cocaine in his possession. Stansbury is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $50,000 bond.

“Despite difficulty in finding cooperative witnesses, our detectives’ hard work and dedication brought these arrests to fruition. The residents of Eastport should feel a sense of confidence and security as we continue our work in their community,” said Chief Michael Pristoop.
