Police seeking information about shooting death of a 38-year-old man

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore City police are searching for the person who killed a 38-year-old man in Southwest Baltimore Saturday afternoon.

Police discovered the victim on Shipley Avenue and W. Baltimore Street at about 3:41 p.m. with several gunshot wounds to the body. Medics were then called to the scene to transport the victim to Bon Secours Hospital. The victim later succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving to the hospital, police said.

Homicide detectives were originally called to the scene to investigate due to the victims injuries, they are now taking control of the investigation.

Homicide detectives are asking for anyone who has information about the shooting to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
