Recall Alert: Kashi GOLEAN Honey Pecan Bars
LANDOVER, Md. (WBFF) — Kashi GOLEAN Honey Pecan Baklava Bars are the latest product to be recalled by Giant because they may be contaminated with listeria.
The following product is included in this recall:
Kashi GOLEAN Honey Pecan Baklava Bars, 1.5 oz., UPC 1862710472 with Better if Used Before dates of Jul2116; Aug0716 & Sep1316
Kashi Company, Giant Food LLC announced recalls for several other bars such as the Kashi Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars, Nature Valley Bars, select Cliff Bars, and certain Atkins bar items that may also contain listeria.

To date, both companies haven’t received any reports of illness. Listeria is a common organism found in nature. Consumption of food contaminated with listeria monocytogenes can cause serious listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially fatal disease.
