Police have identified the men as James Michael Warhurst, 32, of Manassas, Va., and Ali Reza Rohanimanesh, 28, of Front Royal, Va.

Howard County police conducted a month long investigation with an undercover detective posing as a potential escort. Police say in October Warhurst used social media to contact an undercover detective to offer her a job as an “escort.” Warhurst informed the officer that she would be performing sexual acts for money and a percentage of her earnings would need to be paid to him. He further explained that theses “dates” would be conducted each night and that she would also have to perform sexual acts with him as well.

This dialogue continued over the course of several weeks, where he subsequently offered an additional job to the undercover detectives “friend.” Leading up to the initial “date” Warhurst arranged a time and and place for the first pickup.

When that day arrived Warhurst had Rohanimanesh with him as the driver. They were both taken into custody on Route 1 in Laurel after meeting with the undercover detective.

Both face human multiple charges including prostitution, human trafficking and are being held at the Howard County Detention Center. Warhurst’s bond is set at $25,000, Rohanimanesh’s at $10,000.
