Two teens charged after Eastpoint fatal shooting

EASTPONT, Md. (WBFF) — Two teenage boys face charges after a man was shot in the head after a dice game in Baltimore County on April 4, according to Baltimore County police.

The shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m., after the three men were engaged in a dice game in the basement of the 21-year-old victim Marlo Delector Braxton.

After the shooting, police say Amritpal Singh Mavi and Michael Christian Mullen fled from Maryland to West Virginia. Mullen was the first to be picked up in Beaver, West Virginia on April 18. Mavi was picked up three days later on April 21, in Mount Hope, West Virginia.

Police have charged Mavi, 17, of Homberg Avenue and Mullen, 18, of no fixed address. Both men will be charged as adults and face a first-degree murder charge. They have also been indicted with first-degree assault, armed robbery, handgun violation, and several other pending charges.

Police are unsure of the exact cause of the shooting.
